Below are some common questions that we receive from generous individuals who would like more information on how to help Save-A-Pet. If any of your questions are not answered below, please feel free to email development.manager@saveapetil.org or fun$raising@saveapetil.org for more information.

What if I want to hold a donation drive for Save-A-Pet?

Your business, club or organization can gather donations for Save-A-Pet by using our online Wish Lists found under our “Ways to Give” section on our website. Please contact the Development Manager at 847-740-7788 x108 or fun$raising@saveapetil.org before you begin so that we may help to provide pictures of our animals.

Can I host a third-party event for Save-A-Pet?                           

YES! We would love to hear from you and help coordinate the event. Please contact the Development Manager at 847-740-7788 x108 or fun$raising@saveapetil.org so that we can discuss further.

I am hosting a community event and would like Save-A-Pet to be there. Who should I contact?

We love being able to share information about Save-A-Pet and our animals to the community. We have a great team of volunteers who can attend these events on behalf of Save-A-Pet. Please send additional details, such as the date, time, and location of the event to community@saveapetil.org for further consideration. Please note that at this time it may not be possible for us to bring animals to community events.

 

What are some other ways that I can support Save-A-Pet and its animals?

Below are just a few other creative ideas for how you could help Save-A-Pet and enrich the lives of our dogs and cats.

  • Honor your animal-loving friends by donating to Save-A-Pet in lieu of a material gift for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions.
  • Ask your loved ones to make a gift to Save-A-Pet in lieu of a material gift for your birthday or other special occasions. Here are some ideas for verbiage to make that easy:
  • Please let your charitable donation to Save-A-Pet be your only gifts to us.
  • In lieu of a gift, a contribution to Save-A-Pet is greatly appreciated.
  • No gifts please. Instead, please share your generosity with Save-A-Pet.
  • [Host] would like to honor this occasion by having monetary gifts donated to Save-A-Pet.
  • Ask loved ones to make a gift to Save-A-Pet in lieu of flowers in your obituary.
  • Make a gift to Save-A-Pet in lieu of table favors at your wedding.
  • Ask family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors to sponsor you in a walkathon, 5K, bike race, bowlathon, etc. ten donate those funds to Save-A-Pet.
