Our adoption process has changed. Please read the below for more information.
Due to our current staffing shortage, we may not be able to accommodate unscheduled walk-in visits to view our dog and cats because we are focused on caring for our animals. If you would like to meet a dog or cat, we ask that you please complete an online adoption questionnaire and an adoption counselor will be in touch to schedule an appointment. You will not be able to adopt an animal without an appointment, and approved adoption questionnaire on file.
However, if you have any questions about Save-A-Pet, or our adoption process, please feel free to come in to the facility and speak to an adoption counselor in our lobby.
Links to both our Dog Adoption Online Questionnaire and our Cat Adoption Online Questionnaire are below. Alternatively, you can download the printable version, complete it, and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. After your questionnaire is received and reviewed, one of our adoption counselors will contact you. Please allow up to 48 hours for this process to be completed.
The adoption counselor will schedule a date and time for you to enter the facility to interact with the cat or dog. They will also provide further details regarding your appointment, such as what documentation you should bring, family members that must accompany you, etc.
