Furry Friends 5K: Celebration Run!

Join Save-A-Pet for our 5th annual Furry Friends 5K and fun walk event! This year the theme is Celebration Run in honor of Save-A-Pet’s 50 years of saving lives! All proceeds benefit Save-A-Pet and its animals.
Running isn’t your thing? Then stick around because right after the race finishes, our 6-Legged Walk begins! We invite you to bring your well behaved, four-legged friend for exercise and socialization while supporting Save-A-Pet.
5K Timed Run
- Participants will receive a backpack with race materials, race t-shirt, and a participation medal.
- The first place overall finishers (make and female) will receive trophies.
- The top three finishers for males and females within each age ground will receive trophies.
6-Legged Fun Run/Walk
- Bring your well-behaved four-legged friend for exercise and socialization while supporting Save-a-Pet.
- All 6-Legged Fun Run/Walk human participants will receive a backpack and a race t-shirt.
Pre Race Day Packet Pick Up will take place on Friday, June 24, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm at Save-A-Pet located at 31664 N. Fairfield Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030.
Race morning Registration and Packet Pick Up will be at 7:00 am at the race location- Old School Forest Preserve- Shelter C, 28285 N. St. Marys Road, Libertyville, IL.
