Not everything started that bright though. My family abandoned their house a year ago and then brought me back during the cold spell and snow of April, chained me to the fence and left. Luckily a neighbor noticed all this and called in for a humane investigation. Who knows what could have happened if they had not taken action. When I first came in, I wasn’t quite sure what was happening and definitely did not have very good manners. I am a passionate dog and would often get overly excited so not the best way to interact with everyone. The Canine Care staff has spent a lot of time working with me, helping me understand positive ways to show when I am happy, playful or if something bugs me. I enjoy playing with toys and will sit nicely for some treats. All this is fine but I would really love to find a committed home, willing to continue working with me. I’m quite smart and loving so hope to find someone very special.
