Yep, I was a ghost when I first came in, buried under my blankets, not moving and not wanting to be noticed. The staff knew exactly what to do to help me realize, little by little, that they truly cared and loved me for who I was. Fast forward! Now look at me, I’m happy, I’m out and about, chirping at volunteers, giving headbutts and of course purring loudly.
