Wolfy settled right in and quickly became a part of our family. He is so smart and loving, we feel lucky to have him. Splash (his much older big sister) sleeps most of the day, but moves around more since Wolfy’s arrival. He could not seem to let her rest the first day, but with just a little guidance from his new mom and dad he learned to treat her gently. He occasionally lies next to her and waits for her to stir. He gets plenty of attention from his new mom and dad though. He loves to go for walks and plays fetch for hours on end. He loves the new toys that squeak the most and brings them to us when he is ready to play. In fact, when he goes outside to potty (by the way he has not had one accident in the house), all we have to do is squeak a toy and he comes running.
Wolfy did challenge us a few times and we expect more, but he can’t stand to make us unhappy. If we tell him “no” he runs to our feet and lays down showing his belly. He is not as demanding as we thought he might be. When we are tired of throwing the toys to fetch, he will come next to us on the couch and sit quietly as long as he is near us he seems happy. If we get busy, Wolfy has already learned where his bed is and that it is his bed and goes to it until we are settled. The second we sit down, he is back at our side. He also loves to ride in the car and we often take him along to the store.
Thank you so much for bringing Wolfy into our lives,
Robin Cooper
