I adopted this wonderful guy from Save a Pet on July 8th of this year. You might remember him as Dr. Llama. His new name is Jake and he is the light of my life. He has a great backyard to play in and sleeps with me in my bed (although he is a bit of a bed hog at times). He’s a big love bug and we like to chase each other around the house. You can see how proud he is of his new haircut in the before and after pictures attached.
Thanks Save-a-Pet for rescuing this sweetie so we could find each other!
Regards,
Genelle

We came to look at Wendy in March of 2007. She was adorable but we decided to take a few days to think about adopting her. When we called later that week, she had been adopted. We took it as a sign and focused on our upcoming wedding on May 5, 2007.
After our wedding, we decided we wanted to adopt a dog as a wedding present to ourselves. Imagine our surprise when we opened up Save-a-Pet's website and saw that Wendy had been returned! She had been adopted into a multi-dog home and was just not happy.
We raced over there and brought her home!
She's been with us for the past 4 years and we cannot remember our life without her. She's got such a personality and loves being around us, and is happiest when we're all home together cuddling on the couch. She's still got plenty of that beagle mischief too!
Thanks, Save-a-Pet, for helping to complete our new family.
Regards,
Sarah and Brendon

Eppe has made herself at home with out problems. She still barks furiously when someone is at the door, self appointed guard dog! But once someone is welcomed in by us, she is happy that she made a new friend.
It is sad to know that she already knew "Do you want to go for a ride?" "do you want to go on a walk?" "do you really think you belong in this bed?"
She is still afraid of the thunder and fireworks, out vet gave us something to take the edge off, enough to make her stop vibrating.
Eppe is the happiest when her "pack" is all home and accounted for.
She is a very loving girl, We love her and she is one of the family....forever.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Sweet Sara, now known as Heidi is doing wonderful. This is her favorite sleeping spot plus it's right by the window so she can watch the birds. She is a real lover. She loves to nuzzle your neck and under your arm as she just purrs away. I just love her and she gets along great with my other cats and even plays with them. I'm so glad I made the trip down to adopt her. She is a precious cat. I don't think she has any ill effects from her abuse that she received.
